Every Californian votes in the nonpartisan primary, regardless of party; just like now. Up to five vote-getters move on to the general election. Up to five real options in November — not two.
In the general election, mark the candidates in your order of preference — first choice, second choice, and so on. Skip anyone you don't. You're in charge.
If a candidate clears 50% of first-choice votes, they win outright. If not, the candidate with the broadest support — as determined by all voters' preferences — wins. No winner by plurality alone.

Thanks for signing on. The biggest way to help right now is to chip in — the campaign runs on grassroots support.
When voters get a real say, candidates have to earn support beyond their base — and California gets leaders with a real mandate.
